Pastor Tia Hunt Bio

Pastor Tia Hunt is a Native of Rochester, NY. She gave her life over to the Lord in 2004 while at a local Pentecostal Church. Pastor Tia fully understood her purpose in the ministry when she married the honorable Bishop Dontest Hunt, Senior Pastor of Faith Victory Christian Center located in the inner City of Rochester, New York in November 2006. Pastor Tia began her journey of a life in Christ by staying committed to a lifestyle of prayer. In addition, she was discipled by Her greatest mentor and Mother-in-law, the late Mother Frances Jenkins. The seeds that were deposited into Her life propelled Her into excelling in Ministry.

In 2008, Pastor Tia was licensed & ordained under the direction of United Federation of Christian Churches and Ministries of Atlanta, GA. Pastor Tia graduated from Monroe Community College located in Rochester, NY, with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts & Science; immediately after she obtained her BA in Marketing from The College at Brockport in Brockport, NY. She worked in the corporate field for many years & landed a professional position as an Event Coordinator.

In 2011, the Lord ordered Pastor Tia’s footsteps to Graduate school. Pastor Tia obeyed the voice of the Lord and graduated with honors in 2013 from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK, with an MPA in Non-Profit Management. In addition, she’s a 2015 Alumni of Elim Bible Institute & College, Lima, NY.

Recently in December of 2022 Pastor Tia partnered with Walk Thru the Bible Global Ministries Headquarters in Peachtree Corners, GA and now serves as an Associate Instructor for otLive Kids, otLive Adults, and ntLive Adults.

In addition, Pastor Tia diligently serves at Her church, Faith Victory Christian Center as an Administrator, hosting Annual Women of Fire Conferences & Shut-ins, Intercessory prayer, and a Teacher and Preacher of the Gospel. She stands on the Word of God, and without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
